No. Tawasol welcomes both Muslim and Christian Egyptians. Events are religion-segmented — Muslims attend Muslim events, Christians attend Christian events — to respect the faith-specific context that marriage conversations require. Muslim events are running now; Christian events open as soon as enough members have joined the waitlist.

Only after both of you have independently chosen to continue. Nobody can browse photos, search for you, or see your picture before speaking with you. If either side passes, no photo is ever exchanged.

Six minutes to start. If you are both enjoying it, either of you can ask to extend — first by four minutes, then by two more, up to twelve minutes in total. The request is private: if the other person does not extend, the call simply ends and they never know you asked.

We would rather be honest: on any video call anywhere, a person can record their own screen, and no platform can fully prevent that. This is why conversations start with audio only, why video requires both sides to agree, and why we tell you when someone captures your screen. Treat anything on camera as something that could be saved.

Every profile is manually reviewed before approval, and members must be 18 or over. We reject sign-ups that suggest casual intent. The platform itself — the intent declaration, the conversation format, the fact that attending an event is a paid commitment — is designed to filter out anyone not genuinely seeking marriage.

Creating your profile and having it reviewed is free. You pay once per event you choose to attend — there is no subscription and nothing recurring. The exact price of each event is shown to you when you register for it, and it varies by format. Nothing is charged until you decide to take a seat.

Full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before the event. After that, no refunds — but you can transfer your seat to a future event of equal value. There is no subscription and nothing recurring: you pay once, per event.
